Endocannabinoid System

Researchers are asserting that medical conditions and diseases occur when the human endocannabinoid system faces a deficiency.  The endocannabinoid system is a biochemical communication system in the human body which regulates physiology, mood and everyday experience.

When cannabis is ingested, cannabinoids bind to receptor sites in the brain and body, resulting in differing benefits.  Studies have also shown that there are endogenous cannabinoids that occur naturally in the mammalian brain and body for the purpose of cannabinoid regulation.
